Happy Birthday My Jillian (a few days early)

So I can't believe that in a little more than 24 hrs my baby girl will be one year old. What an exciting time it was for me, Jon and my mom in the delivery room--waiting for baby to be born and wondering if we were having a Jillian or a Charles. I was secretly hoping that it was a Jillian so Madelyn would have a sister -- I still remember the doctor giving me the baby and letting me announce to Jon what it was. When we first came home we never thought we would make it to this point--chasing around a busy 1.5 year old and a newborn--what were we thinking?! But we survived--despite tears and temper tantrums, sleepless nights and now we have two giggly girls that climb all over each other and laugh and two girls that give us hugs and kisses. Life is still trying here and I am sure it always will be but having two girls makes our somewhat crazy life absolutely perfect. I can't believe that a year ago she was a teeny tiny baby and now she is a cutie pie with a devilish smile and big blue eyes. She is perfect and completed our little family...Happy 1st Birthday Jilly Bear!
